‘Big Give Christmas Challenge’ raises over £30k for Over The Wall

We are delighted to announce that this week’s ‘Big Give Christmas Challenge’ has raised a total of £30,011.25 for Over The Wall.

For one week only, (from 28th November to midday 5th December 2017), all donations made were doubled as a part of the annual fundraising campaign.

A total of £14,235 was generously donated by Over The Wall’s supporters, a sum that was matched up to £12,500 by Candis Magazine.

The funds raised will now be used to help support even more children and their families to experience Over The Wall’s camps throughout 2018.

Chief Executive of Over The Wall, Kevin Mathieson said, “We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of our supporters, and would like to thank everyone that has donated. These donations will create more opportunities for children with serious illness and their families, to experience the wonder of our camps.”

Over The Wall’s life-changing camps for children with serious illnesses are free-of-charge, but over £1 million per year must be raised to cover the cost of these camps.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge has now finished, but you can still make a donation to help fund our therapeutic camps, by CLICKING HERE.
