How You Can Help
Over The Wall is totally reliant on donations to provide camps for 500 sick children each year. Fun and laughter should be a part of every child’s life, unfortunately a child with a serious illness can forget how much fun it can be to paddle up a river in a kayak, face paint your friend or climb forty feet up the climbing wall to ring the bell.
With your help and support we can change the lives of some amazing children by helping them to find that fun and laughter again
Corporate Support
We work with businesses of all sizes and are delighted to speak individually to each one, planning the type of support that works best for you.
· Employee volunteering — working with your company we can deliver in house training to enable staff to come to camp and work directly with our children for one week. Please note that this is subject to interview and a clean enhanced CRB check.
· Donations — no child or family is charged a penny to come to camp but it does cost the charity approximately £1000 per child per week. Your company could sponsor a child and hear for yourself what a difference your donation has made to their lives.
· Charity of the year — working together we can plan a whole year of events and support for your company. Our partnership can improve both employee and customer relations.
· Employee fundraising — We run events such as runs and challenges each month of the year. These events are great for team building and have the satisfaction of knowing that another child has been helped.
· Payroll giving - Let us tell your employees about the good work we do. We can provide materials for staff/rest rooms or DVD’s to play on screen or via the company intranet.
· Cause related marketing — It is a proven fact that a customer looking at two products in the supermarket that are the same price will choose the product that supports a charity. Speak to us to develop a partnership that can help to increase your sales and brand loyalty.
· Donations in kind — running five weeks of camp a year means that we go through a vast amount of materials from medical supplies, biscuits, squash to paper, paints and torch batteries. If you have a surplus we might need it — please call us.
