Hilton Cycle Challenge
Eighteen riders took part in the 2009 Hilton Hotel Cycle Challenge on Saturday 13th June, 4 of which there were 4 from the Hilton Hotel Bradford who were cycling in aid of Over The Wall. What a challenge — sweltering heat, lots of hills, punctures, and broken bikes were all in abundance!! Fourteen riders managed to complete the 70 mile cycle from Sheffield to York. We are very proud to say all 4 from the Hilton Bradford completed this grueling challenge. The OTW team was led by Max Flude, Hotel Manager, Janet Anderson, Phil McPeake and Wojtek Podolak joined him. In total 1120 miles were completed, which is no mean fete when the rest of us were sat round our BBQ’s enjoying the weather! The Bradford team hope to have raised £600 for Over The Wall. Well done and congratulations to the whole team, we really appreciate your dedication!
