Kilworth Challenge 2009

For all of those that took part or merely spectated, this year’s Kilworth Challenge was as entertaining and grueling as ever!! 42 teams of four took part in the event. Each team was challenged to a 2 day event of nearly thirty miles with a ‘challenge’ at roughly each mile. The challenges varied from mental to physical. Glorious weather, mud, water, sweat, brain hurt, sunburn and injuries were the order of the days!!! There were teams of red bulls, hunky men and fabulously fit women involved! The teams raised a massive total of over £67,000 which will be divided between local organisations as well as Over The Wall, and two other charities. A big thank you to all who took part in the event, you made it a huge success!!
