Glenalmond Camp, Scotland

Hello mother, hello father,
Here I am at Camp Granada.
Camp is very entertaining,
And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining!

The song made famous by Bob Newhart certainly came to mind when OTW arrived at Glenalmond. However it did gradually stop raining and even the occasional shower did not stop our campers having the time of their lives.

Whether swimming, climbing, playing ball games and even being taught the finer points of baseball by two visitors from the Hole in the Wall Association there was plenty of outdoor action.

Theatre, music, arts and crafts as well as media revealed many talents’ and skills.

The staff at Glenalmond has been wonderful in the care and interest shown and very much made the inaugural week the success it has been.

OTW envisages holding three weeks at Glenalmond in 2008 , each week with a compliment of sixty children and young people.
