Over The Wall is delighted to announce that in 2008 we will be holding 12 weeks of camps, 5 weeks in Dorset, 3 weeks in Scotland and 4 weeks in the Midlands. We will be able to offer over 650 children and young people an opportunity to experience renewed confidence, face new challenges and create life long friendships – in the words of a camper – “increase the size of my address book”

We can’t do this without a huge number of fantastic volunteers, every volunteer that comes to camp allows a child to come along.

It is the Volunteer Team at camp who enable our Campers. They give lots of positive encouragement and support to the campers and treat them as ‘special’, not because they, or their sibling, have been ill, but because they are children and young people, each with their own unique gifts and talents.

We also need volunteers to lead the activities at camp like Media, Arts & Crafts, Woodwork, Drama, Kayaking, and Fishing and volunteers who can help out in the camp office, drive the minibus or provide general help around the camp.

You don’t need to have experience with children you just need to be enthusiastic, safe with children and able to give us a week of your time.
