Become A Trustee

Ever thought about becoming a trustee?

Charity trustees make up the group of people with legal responsibility for the overall governance and decision making in the charity.

The role of a trustee is voluntary and they are not paid or receive any personal gain from their role.

The role is not a permanent one. Trustees have a set number of years which they work, at the end of which they will need to stand for re-election or take a break from the role.

Over the Wall is keen to attract new Trustees who can make a positive contribution to the growth of the charity and welcomes applications.

Applicants should be able to contribute at least 10 hours per month and attend Trustee Board Meetings 4 times a year, these are usually held on a weekday evening and are ideally expected to be involved in at least one committee (currently Executive, Operations, Finance, Fundraising, Medical and Selection Committees)

If you would like further information please contact us for an application pack or for an informal chat please call the Chief Executive Officer on 01420 82086.
