Children living with serious illness have been in and out of hospitals, away from school and home, facing frightening treatments and living with uncertainty.

Often their illness has robbed them of their confidence and made them uneasy amongst their peers.

Our camps give them the chance to feel normal. They get to hang out with other children who are all at different stages of their illness.

So they don't have to explain bald heads, scars, eye patches, crutches, weight gain or other unwanted effects of taking lot of medication.

And that gives them something priceless: a chance to fit in.
