South Health Challenge Camp

22 August - 26 August

Health Challenge Residential Camp

For children living with serious health challenges, life is often impacted by missed opportunities to participate in the everyday activities enjoyed by their friends and peers. This can result in isolation, poor self-esteem and low confidence – all of which can become a barrier to future growth and development. Over The Wall’s free Health Challenge camps are designed to bring about transformational change to tackle these issues. We invite applications from children aged 8 to 17 years, living in the UK, who are currently receiving treatment, or experiencing health challenges.

We aim for every camper to be empowered with a new sense of ambition, self-confidence and a better understanding of their abilities.

Our camps are 100% fun and 100% free, for everyone, all of the time.

Each of our camps, which take place in a physically safe and medically sound environment, offer a world of mischief, magic and new possibilities, enabling campers to discover their true potential through a programme of therapeutic recreation.

Our Health Challenge camps take place in a medically safe environment – our team of volunteers which includes doctors, paramedics and nurses mean that campers are suitably supported with medical assistance on hand.

Transport

To help you get to camp we have transport support options from London, Bristol or Birmingham. Please note that not all transport is guaranteed but we will do our very best to support your journey.

After being at the camp for a short while, you could see how positive the experience was, Henry realised – ‘I’m hanging out with children, who all have the same thing as me…!’” – Camper Parent
