For 2026\, the event will be bigger and better than ever! \nThe route starts and finishes at Silk Mill Park\, close to Derby Cathedral and takes in Pride Park Stadium\, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park. \nThe course is fast and flat. A fantastically vibrant atmosphere on the day is guaranteed. \nAs well as being the pride of the city\, runners crossing the finish line can look forward to some great rewards including a bespoke event t-shirt\, medal and goody bag containing well-earned post-race treats. \nEntrants must be 17 years or older on event day. \nRAM 5 Mile 2026\nNot quite ready for a half marathon? \nTake on the RAM 5 Mile event taking place after the Ramathon entrants set off. DESCRIPTION:Robin Hood Half Marathon 2026\nRegistration fee: FREE!\nMinimum sponsorship: £250 \nThe Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. \nThe course is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike – for beginners\, whose key objective is to complete the course\, to more regular long distance event runners\, looking to beat their personal best time. It is a single lap\, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course. The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and is undulating\, so not all flat. There are a couple of inclines at the start\, whilst your legs are more up for it (Mile 2\, 4 and 6). \nA picturesque route taking you along Victoria Embankment\, River Trent\, past Nottingham Castle\, near the Robin Hood Statue\, through the Nottingham Park Estate and through Wollaton Park where you’re bound to spot some deer roaming. From serious athletes wanting a shorter race\, to complete beginners wanting to have fun\, get fit and raise money for charity all at the same time. The start time is 10:00am\, after the Half Marathon. Chip timing will be used for all competitors\, so everyone will get their position and race time. \nAdults and children can take part in the Mini Marathon. Children must be at least 4 years of age.
