DESCRIPTION:Robin Hood Half Marathon\nRegistration Fee: FREE\nFundraising Target: £250 minimum \nThe Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. \nThe course itself is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike – for beginners\, whose key objective is to complete the course\, to more regular long distance event runners\, looking to beat their personal best time. It is a single lap\, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course. The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and is undulating\, so not all flat. There are a couple of inclines at the start of the route\, whilst your legs are more up for it (Mile 2\, 4 and 6). \nA picturesque route taking you along Victoria Embankment\, River Trent\, past Nottingham Castle\, near the Robin Hood Statue\, through the Nottingham Park Estate and through Wollaton Park where you’re bound to spot some deer roaming. Finishing on Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground next to the River Trent. You don’t have to raise money for charity but we’re delighted that most of you do. The start time is 10:00am\, after the Half Marathon. Chip timing will be used for all competitors\, so everyone will get their position and race time. \nAdults and children can take part in the Mini Marathon. Children must be at least 4 years of age. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Ramathon will be bigger and better than ever! The route starts and finishes in Iron Gate close to Derby Cathedral and takes in Pride Park Stadium\, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park. \nThe course is fast and flat and a fantastically vibrant atmosphere on the day is guaranteed. \nRegistration Fee: £25\nFundraising Target: £100 minimum\nEmail: events@otw.org.uk to register your interest. \nSupport Over The Wall Camp\nOver The Wall provides a place where children with serious illness and disabilities can be brave and have fun with others. Goodbyes and departures will be after lunch on Sunday.  \nThis Over The Wall and Anthony Nolan camp is for families with a child who has a blood disorder OR has had a bone marrow\, stem cell transplant\, OR organ transplant (scroll down for more about who can join us).  \n Meet families on a similar journey to you\, and have a fun-filled weekend!  \nGetting to camp\nThere is parking at all our camps\, so many families choose to make their own way to us. However\, we can also arrange a taxi pick up from Lichfield Trent Valley Train station. If you’d like to arrange this\, please let us know in your application.   \nOur free-of-charge residential camps are more than just a holiday!\nCampers have transformational experiences when they join the Over The Wall and Anthony Nolan Family Camp. You can step into the camp bubble\, where our meaningful activity programme has been designed to be inclusive and help every camper succeed. Check out our camp calendar for all our camp dates.\n_______________ \nCome and join us for five days filled with mischief and magic!\n  \nWhere\nBryaston School\, Blandford Forum\, Dorset DT11 0PX \nWhen\nSunday 13th – Thursday 17th April 2025 \n(Four nights and five days) \n\nGetting to camp\nCamps are in several locations across the UK. You can make your own way to camp or on one of our free camp buses (with Over The Wall Camp volunteers). For this camp\, our buses will pick campers up from hubs in London\, Bristol and Southampton. Let us know in your application if you’d like a place on a camper bus.  \nOur free-of-charge residential camps are more than just a holiday!\nCampers have transformational experiences when they join the Over The Wall Camp family. You can step into the camp bubble\, where our meaningful activity programme has been designed to be inclusive and help every camper succeed.
