You can make your own way to camp or on one of our free camp buses (with Over The Wall Camp volunteers). For this camp\, our buses will pick campers up from hubs in Edinburgh\, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Let us know in your application if you’d like a place on a camper bus.  \nOur free-of-charge residential camps are more than just a holiday!\nCampers have transformational experiences when they join the Over The Wall Camp family. You can step into the camp bubble\, where our meaningful activity programme has been designed to be inclusive and help every camper succeed. Whether you make new friends\, take on the climbing wall\, or find a new talent\, you should leave camp feeling proud.   \nOver The Wall Camp is where many children and young people with health challenges grow their confidence\, form lifelong bonds\, and feel more independent than ever before.   \nOur camps have bedrooms and bathrooms\, so you’ll have a comfortable place to rest and won’t have to pitch a tent!  \nYour team of mischief and magic makers!\nTo make camp possible for you\, our medical team of nurses\, doctors and paramedics are there at all times. This means they can provide routine care and respond to emergencies. Camp is a safe and supportive environment for you to step outside your comfort zone.   \nCamps are run by our Over The Wall Camp staff team and wonderful volunteers.     \nOver The Wall Camps are 100% free of charge\nOver The Wall camps are fully funded by our generous donors and fundraisers\, meaning our camps are 100% fun and 100% free\, for everyone\, all of the time.  \nWho can join us at camp?\nHealth Challenge & Sibling Camps \nThese camps are five days of magic for children and young people to come to without their grown-ups! You’ll be in a small group with other campers your age\, with your own team of volunteers.   \nYou can join us if:\nYou’re aged 8-17 years old and are living with a health challenge or have finished treatment within the last three years. \nYou’re aged 8-17 years old and you have a sibling (aged 0-17 years) who has a health challenge.   \nWe also run Family Camps\, which are two nights of fun for the whole family\, so the grown-ups don’t miss out!  \nI’ve applied! What next?\nIf we need further information to complete our assessment\, a member of our nursing team will contact you. Otherwise\, you will hear from us regarding whether your child has been offered a place on Wednesday 2nd April 2025. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Ramathon will be bigger and better than ever! The route starts and finishes in Iron Gate close to Derby Cathedral and takes in Pride Park Stadium\, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park. \nThe course is fast and flat and a fantastically vibrant atmosphere on the day is guaranteed. \nRegistration Fee: £25\nFundraising Target: £100 minimum\nEmail: events@otw.org.uk to register your interest. \nSupport Over The Wall Camp\nOver The Wall provides a place where children with serious illness and disabilities can be brave and have fun with others. Check out our camp calendar for all our camp dates.\n_______________ \nCome and join us for five days filled with mischief and magic!\n  \nWhere\nBryaston School\, Blandford Forum\, Dorset DT11 0PX \nWhen\nSunday 13th – Thursday 17th April 2025 \n(Four nights and five days) \n\nGetting to camp\nCamps are in several locations across the UK. You can make your own way to camp or on one of our free camp buses (with Over The Wall Camp volunteers). For this camp\, our buses will pick campers up from hubs in London\, Bristol and Southampton. Let us know in your application if you’d like a place on a camper bus.  \nOur free-of-charge residential camps are more than just a holiday!\nCampers have transformational experiences when they join the Over The Wall Camp family. You can step into the camp bubble\, where our meaningful activity programme has been designed to be inclusive and help every camper succeed. Whether you make new friends\, take on the climbing wall\, or find a new talent\, you should leave camp feeling proud.   \nOver The Wall Camp is where many children and young people with health challenges grow their confidence\, form lifelong bonds\, and feel more independent than ever before.   \nOur camps have bedrooms and bathrooms\, so you’ll have a comfortable place to rest and won’t have to pitch a tent!  \nYour team of mischief and magic makers!\nTo make camp possible for you\, our medical team of nurses\, doctors and paramedics are there at all times. This means they can provide routine care and respond to emergencies. Camp is a safe and supportive environment for you to step outside your comfort zone.   \nCamps are run by our Over The Wall Camp staff team and wonderful volunteers.     \nOver The Wall Camps are 100% free of charge\nOver The Wall camps are fully funded by our generous donors and fundraisers\, meaning our camps are 100% fun and 100% free\, for everyone\, all of the time.  \n\nWho can join us at camp?\nHealth Challenge & Sibling Camps   \nThese camps are five days of magic for children and young people to come to without their grown-ups! You’ll be in a small group with other campers your age\, with your own team of volunteers.   \nYou can join us if:\n \nYou’re aged 8-17 years old and are living with a health challenge or have finished treatment within the last three years. \nYou’re aged 8-17 years old and you have a sibling (aged 0-17 years) who has a health challenge.   \nWe also run Family Camps\, which are two nights of fun for the whole family\, so the grown-ups don’t miss out!  \nFor more about our camp eligibility guidance\, click here.  \nI’ve applied! What next?\nIf we need further information to complete our assessment\, a member of our nursing team will contact you. Otherwise\, you will hear from us regarding whether your child has been offered a place on Tuesday 21st January 2025.
