GSK was instrumental in bringing SeriousFun to Europe, supporting the first camp, Barretstown in Ireland, 25 years ago. Since then GSK has supported the development of camps across Europe and continue that support year on year.

As well as financial donations, GSK supports Over The Wall with volunteering, including giving their Industrial Placement students (IPs) the opportunity to be Over The Wall camp team mates as part of their work experience placement with the company.

Over 100 IPs have taken up this opportunity in less than three years and the numbers each year are increasing.

Our partnership with Over The Wall has exponentially benefitted our placement students and in turn, GSK.  It has allowed us as a business to offer an amazing opportunity for placement student growth above and beyond their role. Our students have described their experience as ‘the best week of their lives’, and I can personally say as a manager I have seen the increased motivation, humility and teamwork skills in my team since their return. I’m very proud of this partnership and look forward to it going from strength to strength each year

Cat Favret, Graduate Recruitment Manager for GSK

We’ve now opened up this opportunity to other Over The Wall corporate partners – is this something that could benefit your graduates and developing leaders?
