4/5-night residential activity camps

Our Siblings camps have been developed for children and teenagers (aged 8-17) who have a brother or sister (of any age) who is currently receiving treatment or experiencing health challenges. Siblings can feel particularly isolated or side-lined and our transformative camps, that place them at the centre of the action, helps redress the balance – we provide a range of activities including swimming, climbing, woodwork, theatre, music, arts and crafts, archery and much more.

Our camps are 100% fun and 100% FREE, for everyone, all of the time.

More information

Coping with an illness in the family can often lead to siblings having to adopt a caregiving role and therefore, many miss out on critical areas of childhood development, such as socialising and developing relationships with other children.
At Over The Wall, we provide free residential camps specifically for the siblings of children with health challenges, allowing them to meet new friends, accomplish new challenges and above all, have fun.
Our Siblings camps take place in a medically safe environment – our team of volunteers which includes doctors, paramedics and nurses mean that families are suitably supported with medical assistance on hand if required.
“Our son’s illness means he is dependent on us for all his needs, therefore a lot of our attention is often focused on this. His brother is frequently asked to help us – or to run around to the shop – so Sibling camp is great for him as he gets to simply do everything he wants to do. Going to camp and running wild, having fun without any restrictions and generally feeling free – is really important for him.” – Camper parent
