Thank You For An Amazing 2021!

A Year Of Seriously Fun Online Camps

With no residential camps once again, we have used the year to creatively develop our online services and we have two hugely positive headlines to shout from the rooftops about, namely:

  • Our online camp programme, Camp in the Cloud served 1275 beneficiaries during the year, up 85% on 2020
  • We have further developed our online services with the aim of creating Camp365, a resource that is always available to any child with an illness or disability

After beta-testing Camp365 this year (and thank you to our 50+ camper testers) we plan a soft launch in April 2022. Together with our soon-to-be-launched Outreach service, initially based at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, we believe these exciting initiatives offer enormous potential to extend our reach to many thousands more beneficiaries a year.

We are super excited to see how these new services evolve and will keep you posted.

Thank You!

As our services are provided free of charge to our beneficiaries; our fundraising is critical to the children and families we serve. The impact of Covid-19 is being acutely felt by every charity and we are no different with a 40% downturn on what we might normally expect to raise. However, we are blessed by fabulous supporters who know and value what we do, and their support has once again been incredibly generous as we cut our cloth and embrace creativity and innovation to drive us forward.

Keeping on the fundraising vein, one of our ambassadors has kindly agreed to triple any donation made in our Christmas Appeal before 25 December. This provides a fabulous opportunity to maximise any donation, no matter what size. We hope this final throw of the fundraising dice this year will help provide a foundation for us to roar back in 2022 when we launch our new online and outreach services and re-launch our wonderful residential camps.

Residential Camps Are Back For 2022

Our 2022 residential camps will cover the whole of the UK and we have already started recruiting campers and volunteers, whose early excitement is palpable and infectious.

We are really fired up to deliver the most amazing experiences ever next year and the generous support received to date from our corporate partners, grant-giving foundations, and individual donors are making all this possible.

Thank you so much, Friend. Your kindness and assistance spur us on to do more every year to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in the UK.

Wishing you a very happy holiday!
