Vital funding for life-changing work
A transformative partnership with Omaze has helped children’s charity Over The Wall Camp secure vital funding for its life-changing work providing free, medically supported, residential camps for children and young people with serious illnesses and disabilities, as well as their families.
Earlier this year, Over The Wall Camp partnered with Omaze as the beneficiary charity for its Million-Pound House Draw.
Through the partnership, the charity will receive a guaranteed £1million which is helping to open the magical new national residential activity centre later this month, at their forever home in Ockbrook, Derbyshire.
Building on this, an additional £3.5million grant will enable Over The Wall Camp to develop more high-quality accommodation and expand its programmes to reach thousands more children and families each year.
It also allows the development and completion of the Omazing Adventure Park and a bespoke clinical suite.
Thrilled to partner with Omaze
Over The Wall Camp Chief Executive, Kevin Mathieson, said:
“We were thrilled to partner with Omaze to support children who typically spend weeks or even months in hospital or receiving treatment for their conditions. They often miss out on everyday activities enjoyed by their peers and can feel isolated and lonely.
