What is Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children Camp in the Cloud?
The Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children Camp in the Cloud (SNAC CitC) is an at home virtual camp for families affected by juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). It brings the mischief and magic of Over The Wall Camp straight into your living room through creative activities, fun and silly games, and live sessions where you can connect with other families on journeys just like yours!
We’ve teamed up! This joyful day of togetherness is delivered in partnership with SNAC, a charity dedicated to providing a national support network for children with arthritis and their families through the provision of factual, practical and emotional support. Together we’re bringing you an inclusive family experience packed with guaranteed laughter, a safe space to try something new, and creativity that knows no limits!
How Does Camp in the Cloud Work?
Step One
Apply! Complete our short online application form. It only takes around 10 minutes, and then sit back and wait to hear from our applications team.
Step Two
Special Delivery! Before CitC, you’ll receive a special delivery to your home, filled with exciting and useful materials to help you join in all the activities. Inside, you’ll also find a simple schedule, so you know exactly what’s happening and when.
Step Three
Get your Zoom link! We’ll email your Zoom link the Friday before CitC, so you’re all set to join the fun with just one click.
Step Four
Join SNAC Camp in the Cloud! When you join the morning call, our friendly support team will be waiting with big smiles and lots of excitement to welcome you. You’ll be part of a community of SNAC families, all enjoying the day together!
Who Can Take Part?
Families are welcome to apply if you’re currently, or have previously been, supported by SNAC and have a child or young person living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) or a related condition. To join us, your family must include at least one child aged 6–17, and you should either live in Scotland or receive treatment there.
