Ho-ho-hold onto your Santa hats! Over The Wall Camp is on the lookout for a jolly team of Santas to raise some festive funds at this year’s Derby Santa Run.
On Sunday 30 November, Markeaton Park will be transformed into a sea of red suits and jingling bells as adults, kids, and even dogs dash, jog, or walk their way along the 5k route.

“Camp is such a life-changing experience for children and families. One of our campers told us, ‘I get the same feeling from Over The Wall Camp as I do on Christmas morning!’ With your help we can provide even more children with this amazing experience.
“Just £30 raised in sponsorship could help pay to transport a child to camp who otherwise wouldn’t be able to join us. £100 raised could pay for five days of activities for a child, so they can try new things, build their self-confidence, make new friends, and have fun!

We are currently transforming our ‘forever home’ at the former Ockbrook School ready to welcome children and families from summer 2026. The site will be the first of its kind in the UK with first-class clinical facilities and exciting recreational spaces including amphitheatre and adventure park.
The Derby Santa Run is organised by Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity. Participants can enjoy live music and festive stalls on the day. Every entry includes a free Santa suit and beard as well as a finisher’s medal.
