Health at Camp

Information for volunteers.

Your health at camp

Prior to attending camp it is essential you communicate any signs of illness to the volunteering team – not doing so will compromise campers. Camp is physically and emotionally demanding so if you have any emerging concerns prior to camp surrounding your physical or mental health please get in touch.

As a volunteer, you are responsible for your own health whilst at camp. Urgent first aid and emergency care will be provided by the Beach Patrol, anything other than this the volunteering team will assist with. It is your role to communicate any signs of illness to the volunteering team who will notify the Beach Patrol who can determine any risk posed to campers.
