Over The Wall Camp, a magical place for children and young people with long-term health conditions
Over The Wall Camp is a UK based charity for children with serious illness and disabilities, and their families, to discover a world of mischief and magic. A place where they can be brave and have fun with others. These amazing places are physical – in residential camps and also available online – with Camp in the Cloud. And what’s more, it’s all free!
Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, Over The Wall Camp provides a safe environment for children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem whilst first-class medical care ensures our unique ability to cater for more than 130 different conditions.

Who we are
As a result of long-term health conditions, more than 1 in 10 children in the UK can be denied a carefree childhood, and this number is growing. Over The Wall Camp empowers children and families to explore new possibilities to rediscover the fun and magic of childhood.
Our new home in Derby
2026 marks our biggest year yet: We have acquired a stunning 17-acre site which we're renovating in its entirety, ultimately enabling us to support up to 4,000 children and young people each year from across the UK.
Our camps
Our camps empower children and families to explore new possibilities and rediscover the fun and magic of childhood. Along with our staff team and committed volunteers, there’s our caring medical team to keep you safe at Camp so that you can worry less and adventure more.

Volunteer with us
We always welcome new volunteers to help create mischief and magic for our campers and families. There are many opportunities to volunteer with us from residential or online camps to fundraising events or in our new site in Ockbrook, Derby.
Corporate support
Our partnerships are values-based, help build purpose for brands and can be designed to meet wide-ranging corporate social responsibility objectives. There are many ways companies can get involved and help us support seriously ill children through our life-changing programmes and we thrive on building long lasting, mutually fulfilling relationships:
