Robin Hood Half Marathon 2026
Registration fee: FREE!
Minimum sponsorship: £250
The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK.
The course is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike – for beginners, whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It is a single lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course. The race starts and finishes in Victoria Embankment and is undulating, so not all flat. There are a couple of inclines at the start, whilst your legs are more up for it (Mile 2, 4 and 6).
A picturesque route taking you along Victoria Embankment, River Trent, past Nottingham Castle, near the Robin Hood Statue, through the Nottingham Park Estate and through Wollaton Park where you’re bound to spot some deer roaming. Finishing on Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground next to the River Trent.
