Volunteering in the Community
Get Ready to Create Some Mischief and Magic!
We are Over The Wall Camp, a UK based children’s charity. We offer free and fun activity camps for children and young people living with health challenges. These camps provide opportunities for young people and their families to discover a world of mischief, magic and new possibilities. There are two ways for our campers to experience this; at residential camps and through our online programme, Camp in the Cloud. And what’s more, it’s all free!
Thank you so much for checking out our Community Volunteering page. Our volunteers support us in helping to create the best possible experience for our campers at our residential and online camps. As a volunteer, you can learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference to the lives of children and young people in a unique and magical environment.

Heritage Collections Volunteers
We’re seeking volunteers to help record and preserve the history of Ockbrook School and Over The Wall Camp as we begin to transform the former school into our forever home.
You’ll be working alongside our Heritage Officer on a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. You’ll capture stories, catalogue and preserve records, record oral histories, and help create a heritage exhibition that will become a permanent feature at Ockbrook.
This is a great chance to learn new skills, meet new people, and help preserve the history of a unique heritage site.
This volunteering opportunity is held at our Ockbrook Campus.
